How to pay your application fee
Applicants must pay the application fee when his/her application is submitted. These fees are CHF 50.- for a holder of a Swiss diploma and CHF 150.- for holders of foreign diplomas, and are deducted from the first tuition payment for students who are accepted to EPFL and who confirm their registration.
Recommended payment methods for all applicants: We strongly recommend that you pay your application fee via credit card (Mastercard or Visa). This payment method will be offered to you when you submit your application online.
If you would like to use an alternative payment method, you can send either:
- a check drawn on a Swiss Bank, or
- an international money order, addressed to "École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne - Service académique" indicating the applicant’s full name and address.
Please note: if you don’t use the online payment method, you must indicate your application number on your check or money order: this number, in the format BA99999999 or PO999999999, will be assigned when your online application is validated and confirmed by an e-mail. Please attach a proof of this payment to your application package.
